imagine if a bear gave a fuck
the care bears are a race of little magical bears (and their multi-species cousins!) that, well, care! they live in the clouds, in a place called care-a-lot. a place of fluffy clouds and rainbows and stars. a haven of kindness. the care bears were created in 1981 for american greetings by artists elena kucharik and muriel fahrion (known for strawberry shortcake!), for use on their greeting cards. afterwards, they were made into plushies. there were originally 10 care bears, but theyve since grown into plenty more!
my personal favorite care bears are 00psy, funshine, grumpy, bedtime, sw33t dreams, wish, and share! i also like lotsa heart elephant and cozy heart penguin!
i also have one (1) oc, tangerine twist bear!
my favorite series is probably the nelvana (1983) series, but i enjoy every iteration of our beloved bears}:]
